Mia Wang

Emerging Media & Communication Specialist | PR Strategist

Hi, I’m Hsuan-Ning (Mia) Wang, a communication strategist and designer with a background in public relations and a Master’s in Emerging Media Studies from Boston University. I specialize in blending storytelling, data, and design to create digital content and experiences that connect with people.

I’ve managed content and campaigns for brands like Ben & Jerry’s Boston, increasing engagement by 197% through influencer partnerships and branded social content. While interning at Butter & Crust in London, I designed Meta ads and packaging, and produced a video campaign that reduced acquisition costs by 20% within a week.

As the Creative Designer for TOSA, I built their first bilingual website using HTML, CSS, and WordPress, designed over 100 social graphics, and created a 13-color brand palette to strengthen visual identity. I also led cross-promotional campaigns with nine cultural associations, boosting event turnout by 34%.

Lately, I’ve been diving deeper into data-driven communication, using R and SPSS to conduct research, lead usability testing, and turn insights into infographics and strategy decks. My recent projects include research on AI literacy, a brand strategy for Calvin Klein, and a smart home app concept called Shelfie.

Fluent in Mandarin, Japanese, and Korean, I bring a global perspective and cultural fluency to everything I do. I’m also proficient in Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Figma, WordPress, CapCut, and SPSS, which I use to turn creative ideas into digital solutions that are both strategic and engaging.

I’m currently looking for full-time opportunities in digital marketing, content strategy, public relations, or web design, roles where I can combine creativity, data, and cross-cultural insight to build impactful brand stories.
