Supported a university-wide initiative to evaluate AI-related communication competencies among media students by integrating research design, stakeholder engagement, and data visualization to inform curriculum development.

  • Quantitative & Qualitative Analysis: Designed surveys and interview protocols; cleaned and analyzed data using R and SPSS to identify skill gaps, perception trends, and actionable recommendations.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Acted as the primary liaison between the client and research team, defined project scope, aligned deliverables, and synthesized feedback to meet institutional needs.

  • Data-Driven Communication: Produced internal and external reports, presentation decks, and executive summaries to clearly communicate findings across stakeholder groups.

  • Visual Strategy: Translated research insights into infographics, data visualizations, and slide decks for the curriculum committee and external faculty stakeholders.

  • Information Design: Created interactive slide decks, infographics, and data visualizations to present complex insights to curriculum committees and faculty decision-makers.

Taiwanese Overseas Students Association Website

Designed and developed a bilingual (English & Traditional Chinese) 13-page website for the Taiwanese Overseas Students Association (TOSA) using WordPress, enhancing community engagement, event promotion, and organizational networking.

  • Website Design & Development: Built and customized the website structure, ensuring a responsive, user-friendly interface with clear navigation. Designed a visually cohesive layout that aligns with TOSA’s branding, incorporating color schemes, icon positioning, and visual hierarchy for an intuitive user experience.

  • Content Creation & Localization: Developed content in both English and Traditional Chinese, ensuring accessibility for international students and enhancing outreach efforts.

  • User Research & Usability Testing: Conducted ethnographic interviews and usability testing with TOSA members to assess navigation efficiency, accessibility, and feature effectiveness. Implemented feedback to refine event registration, search functionality, and page hierarchy for better usability.

  • Functionality Enhancements: Embedded interactive elements such as an event timeline, photo galleries, and a structured e-board section. Integrated search functionality and a bilingual toggle for seamless language switching.

  • Performance Optimization: Addressed usability issues such as photo loading speed, unclear navigation elements, and timeline sorting errors by optimizing images, improving button visibility, and restructuring content for better flow.

  • Strategic Impact: Provided TOSA with a scalable digital platform that improves member recruitment, fosters stronger community connections, and enhances visibility among Boston University students.

The brand is at a critical juncture, where sales and profits have plateaued, and has a risk of entering the decline stage of its Product Life Cycle. The analysis includes the reasons behind the struggle and a rebranding strategy that incorporates innovative approaches and digital transformations to revive the brand's market position. The report addresses not only traditional marketing tactics but also leveraging emerging trends and technologies.
